Excellent provenance on this old time specimen of classic 'Eissen Keisel' Hematite included quartz crystals, which give these gemmy sparklers their distinctive red colouration. A classic combo growing on the Hematite matrix and with crystalised  specularite hematite on the reverse of the specimen as an added bonus!
 
This specimen comes from the collection of Ralph Sutcliffe and was originally collected by Raymond Clements who was the Chief surveyor of the Mine.
